What does this court do?

 

This court has broad jurisdiction covering the follow issues of law:

 

  • Most civil matters

 

  • Some summary matters

  • Administrative law - dealing with administrative decisions such as the legality of the decisions rather than the merits of the decisions and many other Commonwealth administrative decisions

  • Maritime claims

 

  • Human Rights

 

  • Workplace relations

 

  • Intellectual property.
